Raleigh Revenge BMX

A great second bike for children who have outgrown their first and want something that can do a little more, the Raleigh Revenge BMX is small and lightweight enough to appeal to younger children, but has a cool look and the ability to perform tricks which will look great in the eyes of older children.

BMX bikes are extremely popular with children now, as extreme sports come more into the public eye and kids idolise BMX riders as much as footballers. With a BMX you are able to not only ride fast over any terrain, but also perform tricks, as the way the bike is built makes it perfect for moving around in ways other bikes will not allow. BMX has an element of cool to it that will make it stand out in the eyes of children, and any child would be thrilled to own one. They are also surprisingly easy to ride, as they have a low design which keeps kids closer to the ground and gives them more stability if they are attempting to do tricks and stunts on their new bike. The handlebars are strong and have grips which will keep your child steady, and the wheels are slightly smaller than that of a mountain bike to make the whole bike lighter and easier to move around.

The Raleigh Revenge BMX also has a great design which will appeal to adults and children alike with brightly coloured wheels and handlebars giving it an edgy look which will make your child stand out from the crowd and make their bike easy to spot if you let them head off on their own around the local park or skatepark. The bike is made with high-tensile steel so will stand up to hours of riding and even the rougher sport of doing tricks, and should last your child as long as you would like it to, even possibly still being in good enough condition to hand down to younger siblings or friends once your child has outgrown it and wants another, full sized bike.

Make sure you provide your child with safety gear that looks great so they’ll feel comfortable wearing it and let them head out to try out their bike and see what it can do. You may want to get a helmet and pads which match the colours of the bike, or let your child choose their safety gear for themselves so you know they’ll feel happy wearing it wherever they go. You may also want to buy them an instructional BMX DVD so they can experiment with their new bike and try out some simple tricks to see just what their new bike is capable of. You never know, you may have a pro BMXer in your child which this bike would be perfect to bring out of them!
